Local children's author Teighan Laino is set to launch her captivating book 'Tom Shark: Oceans of Emotions' at Betty Loves Books on Saturday, September 9th, starting at 10:30am. The event will include a delightful story time experience, along with engaging activities for the kids and a face painter! Geared towards children aged 4-9, the book creatively explores the topic of mental health, presenting it in an honest, relatable, and gentle manner.

Gathering acclaim from mental health experts, educators, and librarians, Teighan's book has already made a positive impact. This event coincides with the Homegrown Markets at Newcastle Station, offering families a wonderful outing opportunity.

Parking options include the Foreshore Car Park. Alternatively, you can choose to park at the Wickham Interchange or Throsby Car Park, (located at the top of Honeysuckle) and take the kids for a fun light rail journey to join us.
